Join us at the end of May for our annual MXR event taking place at Instrument!

Comma Mentorship Kickoff Party
Join us THIS FRIDAY in AB 320 to welcome the Thesis Mentors to our PSUGD campus! We'll be kicking off our mentorship program by getting to know our friends over at Thesis Agency, and will also be a chance to learn more about them and the work they do!
This meeting is open to all COMMA friends so come by even if you aren't enrolled in the mentorship program! We'll have pizza and bevvies too!
COMMA BODEGA @KAMP GRIZZLY
Join us at our highly anticipated BODEGA @ KAMP GRIZZLY! Come celebrate the end of the term and snag some awesome Comma merch and other goodies! We'll also have a raffle, photo booth, scavenger hunt, craft table & button-making! Alongside all of this, we will be kicking off a live Q&A featuring local BIPOC artists & designers: Nia Musiba, Naomi Likayi, Steph Bianco, Tyeesha Marcell, DJ McKnight, & moderated by Precious Bugarin. Come learn more about them and their work!

Comma Field Trip to Thesis
Join us on March 6 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for a tour, Q&A panel, and lunch at Thesis Agency in their brand new building located on 2375 NW Savier St!

Hey hey, Comma friends! We had a workshop event on Friday, January 26th for our first meeting of the year, hosted by the one and only Outlet PDX! 😋🫶🏻✨ We were in production mode; printing up some exciting stuff for Bodega Pop-Up on Jan 30th, taking place at the Kemeny Lecture series.

In Fall 23’ term, the Comma Club brought a colorful energy to Good Market, taking place on December 2nd at the Lloyd Center! Each team member contributed their own flavor and vibe to create a genuine experience. Come support some local BIPOC Design Students while getting some sweet merch to represent the Comma team!

What is Comma, you may ask? Comma is a group for BIPOC students here at PSUGD! All are welcome to join! We organize community events that highlight and showcase the work of local BIPOC artists and designers.
Through Comma mentorship programs, former Comma alums have gone on to work for places like Nike, Thesis, and Kamp Grizzly!
Stop by this Friday for snacks, beverages, and friends!
