Hi Comma friends! ONLY ONE MORE WEEK until our highly anticipated BODEGA @ KAMP GRIZZLY will be taking place! Come celebrate the end of the term and snag some awesome Comma merch and other goodies! We'll also have a raffle, photo booth, scavenger hunt, craft table & button-making!
Alongside all of this, we will be kicking off a live Q&A featuring local BIPOC artists & designers: Nia Musiba, Naomi Likayi, Steph Bianco, Tyeesha Marcell, DJ McKnight, & moderated by Precious Bugarin. Come learn more about them and their work!

What is Comma Bodega?

Comma Bodega is a pop up created by and for the Comma students. Its first iteration took place at PSU’s Good Market in 2023, and was intended to exist as a space to highlight some of the BIPOC student’s art and design. Now, Bodega will be seen in places all over Portland! Stay up to date on any upcoming events on our instagram @psugd_comma!

Bodegas are more than small corner stores, they are a hub for their community! It's a place you visit when you are bored and you need a friend, a good laugh, a pick-me-up after a busy day, all while picking up cleaning supplies, a scratch ticket or two, and a quick meal for you or your family! Bodegas are often immigrant ran and are an extension of their community, providing a home away from home for many.
