Alanna Risse is a web developer and artist. She’s helped engineer websites for Qadium, BusinessBlocks, Williams-Sonoma, Gap, Inc., Yahoo!, Timbuk2 Designs, and Guru.com. In her art practice, she builds large, immersive installations inspired by adventure, danger, and humor. She is the mastermind behind VergePDX, a curatorial project that hangs art in small businesses around Portland. She received her MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific
Northwest College of Art in 2015 and her BFA in Painting/Drawing from California College of Art in 2008.
