Digital Imaging & Illustration

Studio course in advanced composition using photo-illustration, vector illustration, and hybrid illustration techniques. Emphasis is placed on a conceptual approach to composition and creative process exemplified in the content, style, and execution of illustration projects. This course requires that students furnish a laptop computer that meets the departmental standards in terms of hardware and software (see departmental website for requirements). Prerequisite: (Des 200, Des 210) and instructor approval; OR formal acceptance into the third year by Sophomore Portfolio Review.
