We are welcoming alumni Cari Vander Yacht this Thursday at noon! This Show & Tell will be a video chat. It will be live streamed and archived for your future viewing pleasure (that is, if you can’t make it, of course!)

Cari Vander Yacht is a visual artist and art director originally from Portland, OR now residing in Brooklyn, NY. Primarily using gouache and animation to communicate her view of the everyday, Vander Yacht’s work focuses on the different ways to marry humor and narrative with color and form. Her work has previously been shown in Portland, OR, Stockholm, Sweden, and Lianzhou City, China. In addition to her fine art practice, her illustrations have appeared in the New York Times, BUST, and Wilder Quarterly. Vander Yacht is represented by Nationale in Portland, OR.
