Course Description

DES 345: Introduction to Motion Graphics for Designers

Motion graphics for graphic designers. Apply compositional and typographic skills to sequential story-telling, using self-generated graphic and photographic imagery. Emphasis on work flow, storyboards, and clear communication with increasingly conceptual projects. Introduction to essential After Effects skills. Prerequisite: Formal acceptance into the third year by Sophomore Portfolio Review. Open to non-majors who have prerequisites and consent from the instructor.
