Join us for a lively, provocative evening to think, draw and resist with Jennifer Stady of Laundry Studio!

We will brainstorm a personal or political belief and by the end of the evening create a handmade repeat pattern to use on surfaces from t-shirts to wrapping paper.

With examples to inspire us, we will fill up lots of blank, white pages with words, drawings, and motifs, eventually narrowing our focus and learning how to create a 8.5” x 11” repeat tile. Jennifer will model how to use Photoshop for you to create a repeatable file at home. (You will get a tip sheet!) You can then print your design on anything you can imagine: wallpaper, clothing, bags, posters, and more.

Let’s cover the world’s surfaces with our voices and passion.

Workshop fee is $50 (OH WAIT! It’s FREE for PSUGD students…just enter the code PSUGD at checkout) and includes all paper, pens and pencils that you will need to create drawings and your final pattern. Register HERE!

This is a workshop for anyone interested in design, art process, patterns or politics. All levels welcome.
