The advertising department of the PSU Student Media Department & the Portland State Vanguard is looking for a designer to work with our student-run campus newspaper advertising staff starting mid-August 2014 and continuing through the 2014-15 academic year.
Responsibilities Include:
Checking that ads are the correct size and file format before going to print.
Designing print and online display ads for clients.
Designing flyers, brochures, ads and other projects for the ad department and Portland State Student Media.
Requirements:
Be detail oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Have strong typography and layout skills.
Be well-versed in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
This is a part-time, paid student position. 10-12 flexible hours per week. Pays current minimum wage of $9.10/hour. Must be currently enrolled PSU student with at least 8+ credit hours, minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
