Publications Specialist

Compensation and Benefits:
• Approximately 15-20 hours per week
• $10 hourly pay
• Other benefits include:
o Working in an office that supports student learning, leadership, and growth
o Collaborating and networking with many University representatives, which can often lead to other employment opportunities on campus
o Overseeing two major University publications

Responsibilities to Include:
• Apply graphic design and editing/writing skills to publications and projects which support recruitment activities and increase new student success at PSU
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled student at PSU, either at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5); Microsoft Word and Excel; and Google mail
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with large university publications, communications or PR firms, or graphic or web design companies
• Prior experience working on campus at PSU
