To support our pursuit, we are seeking a PT Graphics/Production Designer, who is a dedicated, detail-oriented and creative graphic designer, and who is eager to use their graphic & production design skills to help grow our brand via engaging and thoughtful design. A primary focus will be the design and production of the Trail Blazers Rip City Magazine game day program.
You will be responsible for:
Design page layout and other elements/features/ads for game day program (Rip City Magazine) for 41 regular season home games and (hopefully) playoffs
Production design updates for all relevant pages in the game day program (Rip City Magazine) for all 41 regular home games and (hopefully) playoffs
Coordinate game day program production details (i.e. print dates, due dates, traffic ads, collect photography, prep files, edit, press check, etc.)
Graphic and Production Design for Group Ticket Sales Flyers Materials
Graphic and Production design for general Blazers and Rose Quarter and Marketing design needs
Graphic and Production design for Blazers Corporate Partnership co-branded sponsor promotions
Digital/Web Marketing design for Blazers and Rose Quarter digital platforms – such as e-mail, web pages, and display ads
Graphic Design for Blazers retail (Rip City Clothing Co.)
You are qualified if:
You possess a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in design from a four-year college or university; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have had 1-2 years of professional experience (preferred)
You are able to work on Mac (primarily) and PC platforms
You display proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
You have design portfolio to demonstrate experience
You are open and responsive to design feedback and changes
You are able to communicate status of projects effectively to department and clients
You are a quick learner and enjoy a fast paced environment
You are flexible and adapts to various environments and situations
You exhibit high ethical standards and strong sense of confidentiality
You have the ability to work nights and weekends
You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
You have design portfolio to demonstrate experience
