We are looking for a talented designer to create a poster for the 37th annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival held each July at the foot of the St. Johns bridge in North Portland. The 3-day event is host to about 10,000 Jazz and Blues lovers and is the longest-running free festival west of the Mississippi. The poster is a key promotional tool and souvenir artwork, which we sell to raise money to cover the costs of this FREE festival. The Jazz Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We can offer a modest stipend and acknowledgement for the student via the signed artwork, which will be available at the festival, in businesses around Portland, on our website, and in our advertising and public relations efforts.
