Design a Brand mark for a Neighborhood!
The Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association (BDNA) would like to have more presence in their community and develop a brand/image that helps unify their community. They are seeking the help of a graphic design student to design a new brand mark for their neighborhood that can be used on a business cards, letterhead, banners, newsletters and on their website. The project should be completed by May 8, 2013. There is a small budget to compensate a student for the brand mark design, and the neighborhood association will cover the printing costs as those materials are needed.
Graphic design students interested in this project should contact Jacob Sherman, Vice-Chair of the BDNA, at jsherman@pdx.edu by March 25, 2013. Applicants should write a brief cover letter that details their interest in the project, their experience working with clients (if any), and include a link to their portfolio of work. Qualified designers must have completed ART 321 and have a basic understanding of how to get a project printed. Designers will be notified by March 27th, 2013 for interviews.
