Kärcher North America, North America’s largest manufacturer of commercial and industrial pressure washers, floor care equipment, and water cleaning equipment is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for our Landa and WaterMaze Divisions who can be successful in providing support for marketing communications projects and initiatives including creation and design of marketing materials; coordination of shows and schools; maintenance of websites, blogs, and other Internet initiatives; maintenance of leads, co-op, media and other lists and databases; ordering of marketing services and materials; creation of various sales and marketing reports; execution of mailings. This position is located at our Camas, WA facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Assist Marketing and Communications Manager with initiation of new sales or marketing projects and determining scope of project, timelines, marketing resources and delivery dates.
Design and create marketing forms, newsletters, promotional flyers, product literature, logos and additional marketing materials, as needed, using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Assist in website development and search engine optimization projects for current and new company websites and maintain brand blogs and other social networking initiatives. Compose marketing newsletter articles, website copy, product releases, and miscellaneous correspondence, as needed.
Coordinate activities with service and product vendors (mail house, printers, marketing advertisers) maintaining information, soliciting, investigating and coordinating third party vendors for the marketing catalog, helping create vendor ads, and establishing co-op ventures with third party vendors for the dealers’ benefit.
Assist dealers, regional sales managers, and customer service representatives with the ordering process for marketing support materials in keeping with the Landa and WaterMaze customer service mission. Monitor marketing open orders. Coordinate the marketing services provided to dealers, including telemarketing, list management, direct mail, fax broadcasting, etc., and coordinate billing of dealers for such services.
Maintain Landa and WaterMaze dealer information databases and the creation and distribution of dealer territory maps using Microsoft MapPoint. Maintain other marketing databases and lists including media mailing lists.
Assist with lead management, including database maintenance and the processing, distribution and fulfillment of all leads.
Provide support for assigned brands’ sales schools, such as registration, training materials and planning meals and refreshments for attendees.
Coordinate marketing support needed for Landa and WaterMaze trade shows, including maintenance and inventory of displays and other show materials, and provide support for other Landa and WaterMaze dealer events as needed. .
Supervise apparel programs, including selecting the items, maintaining inventory and developing plans for promoting them.
Assist in taking minutes and recording action items from dealer council and other meetings.
Compose and type routine correspondence, maintain department files and prepare outgoing mail. Carry out requests by the members of the department to relieve administrative functions.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in the field of marketing, graphic design or communications preferred; or, relevant business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have at least two years of hands-on experience with personal computers using MS Windows; Word, Excel, PowerPoint software and be able to accurately type on a keyboard at least 60 wpm. Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat software. Must have proven organizational skills and be able to operate office equipment, i.e., copier and FAX machine. Experience with SAP preferred, but not required. Fluency in Spanish language a plus, but not required. Minimum amount of travel may be required.
