Graphic designer for NSF proposal illustrations wanted

We’re looking for a graphic designer who can help us with the design of (technical) illustrations for a large National Science Foundation (NSF) center proposal.

The hourly wage is flexible and depends on expertise and skills. Working hours are totally flexible. You need to be a student who’s enrolled at PSU in order to be eligible for this hourly gig. External applications will not be considered.

Most of the work would have to be completed in March and May. We’ll perhaps need 5-8 figures for the entire proposal. Some figures may have to be re-drawn from sample figures, others may have to be created from scratch. If you are a creative mind who has a flair for communicating complex idea, this freelance opportunity may be for you.

The illustrations would need to be drawn in Adobe Illustrator (or in any other vectorized drawing program).
