The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for providing support for the marketing department through a variety of channels including print, digital, web, etc., as assigned. The Graphic Design Intern will report to the Director of Marketing and will assist with the development and design of the organization’s branding materials, social media and web graphics, and a variety of other creative tasks.
The Graphic Design Intern’s primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist with updating the organization’s website with photos, graphics and layout, using the Wix platform
Collateral updates for branding and different programs throughout the organization
Creation of images and graphics to coincide with social media and blog posts
Other projects as assigned
Must be proficient in basic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite
Must know how to design for both print and digital
Basic photo editing skills are a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
Organized, dependable and detail oriented
Senior class standing or recent graduate preferred
Part-Time (10-20 hours/week); $12.00/hour; January-June
