Entry-level design position for a local music venue/bar/restaurant. Paid hourly on a contract basis to start. Room for growth and a pay increase within 6 months depending on performance and reliability.
Work to include concert print ad layouts, announcement graphics, event calendar layouts, menu layout edits and printing. The designer will be working within set brand guidelines and using design templates most of the time. There may be room for occasional ad-hoc poster design or other design projects (signage, merch, brand collateral) if the designer exhibits confidence in following brand guidelines.
Must be available Mondays from 9am-5pm, and one additional half-day later in the week to start. This position may be best suited for someone with a passion for music and an interest in learning more about small business, restaurants, and the entertainment industry.
The venue is 21+ but anyone 18+ is welcome to apply for this position.
