The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for the overall conceptualization and design of all brand and graphic applications, plus the collection, organization and presentation of all information, for the layout and design in any or all of the following: Email, Signage, Logos, Banners, Flyers, Ads, Video, Mobile apps, Website and Social Media, plus all other Marketing, PR, Corporate and Sales graphic design as needed. The internship will last through the end of the school year (June 2017) for 10-20 hours/week depending on course load.
•Think creatively and strategically to produce visually appealing marketing communication projects
•Produce consistent quality layout and design for assigned work
•Development Point-of-Sale marketing collateral templates to enable easy customization by our channel partners
•Be proactive and organized in the execution and delivery of any deadline-specific designs
•Contribute to establishing standards for all marketing materials
•Ability to use a wide range of traditional and digital graphic design tools and software
•Ability to communicate your expertise in graphic design for both traditional and digital media and applications
•Produce accurate and high quality work
•Ability to work independently and as member of a team

•Strong attention to detail (grammar, spelling, accuracy, proofing)
•Bachelor’s degree in design and/or 2 years related experience and education preferred
•Demonstrate use of advanced computer operations regarding graphics (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, HTML, Power Point (all for PC) and web design basics and software
•Intermediate aptitude with basic software packages like Microsoft Office
•HTML/email marketing experience is preferred, including building emails from scratch
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
