Graphic Design/ Art Internship

Liagriffith.com is all about creating a handcrafted lifestyle. Lia is a graphic designer and art director with a background in consumer goods with a focus on paper goods. She started to build her brand with a blog and is expanding into developing private label lines, tutorial videos and is a craft contributor on marthastewart.com. Though Lia is well known for her paper flowers and printables, she also creates viral sewing projects, home decor projects and other handcrafted lifestyle items.

What Lia is looking for:
A graphic design or art student with an interest in stationery, gift wrap and paper goods. Someone who has a refined, poetic, and feminine aesthetic. A designer who finds the world of blogging and brand development interesting.

Internship would include: Production work for licensed stationery and gift wrap. Creating repeat patterns for gift wrap. Assisting in styling for photo shoots. Assisting in production for video shoots. Studio organizing. Assisting in producing projects for blog posts.

Skills required: High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Works fast and confidently. Works well with crafting materials.

Additional skills, but not required: Experience with social media marketing and the WordPress platform.

Hours and compensation: Internship credits. 15-20 hours a week at $10/hour. Transportation or ability to take public transport to studio in Sellwood.
