We are seeking a creative person to work in our Engineering group and bring new life to our Industrial Graphics packages. We install complex control systems for large building campuses. The user interface backgrounds and layout must reflect a high standard of work and be appealing, while still intuitive to use. You’ll be working to design background graphics, navigation icons and a style guide for our most important customers. Hours and work location are flexible. This is a temporary position that could be converted to full time.
The prospective candidate must:
Work collaboratively with a group, and be able to be self directed when needed.
Knowledge of the design processes, strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated design proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, illustrator), Vector based drawing programs.
Experienced with User Interface and User Experience design.
Strong writing and proof-reading skills.
Willing to receive a background check, sign confidentiality agreement and available to receive required training.
Travel may be required to local job sites, or cities within driving distance.
Preferred:
Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator
UX and UI Design experience
AutoCAD familiarity
Sketch up familiarity
Strong IT background
