The Hatfield Graduate Journal of Public Affairs is looking for cover art for its Spring 2016 issue. The issue was published already but no art was created for it. We wish to have cover art for it so that we can publicize the journal on social media. The Cover would include The name of the journal ”The Hatfield Graduate Journal of Public Affairs” and Volume I Issue 1. It would be great if it could incorporate the theme of public affairs/policy/administration while also capturing the spirit of Portland and the greater Cascadia region. The journal is a professional publication so we would like the cover art to portray that kind of gravitas. Inspiration could be derived from the Chicago Policy Review, Oyez, The Harvard Kennedy School Review, or the William and Mary Policy Review. although we would like something with more character.
Unfortunately the journal does not have funding to pay to commission this piece. The artist would be acknowledged in the journal and invited to journal functions. It is our hope that this presents an opportunity for PSU students to add to their portfolio while elevating the reputation of the journal.
