Content Marketing Manager

We’re growing our small but mighty team and have developed a new role to focus on our digital marketing channels. We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to manage our newsletters, social media, and our events calendar. You’ll be responsible for daily posting, community management, employing strategies to grow our followers and subscribers, and creating original (photo/video driven) content fit for these platforms. This is a part time, salaried position, requiring roughly 20 hours of work per week.

What you’ll do:
> Write weekly and daily newsletters, explaining and promoting WW stories to several distinct audiences.
> Post our stories to social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and push notifications on OneSignal.
> Grow subscribers, followers and web visits through cross-platform marketing strategies. (i.e. giveaways, contests, engagement tools).
> Moderate comments on wweek.com and social media to nurture constructive debate.
> Provide insights, and content guidance (i.e. “more pet content on instagram!”)
> Work to understand and advocate for reader needs and preferences on various channels.
> Push the business to adopt better content creation practices by testing new formats, tools and channels.

Who you are:
> You write clean, concise, polished copy.
> You’re versed in social media, content production and distribution – and committed to staying up to date with trends, platform changes, and competitive research.
> Motivated by analytics, and eager to show the fruits of your labor through click-throughs, subscriber growth and positive reader feedback.
> Maybe you’ve had a job working at an ad agency, or managing social media for a brand – – or maybe not. We care less about experience and more about demonstrated interest and fluency in digital marketing channels.
