SRG Partnership is a design-driven architectural, interiors and planning firm located in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. We are seeking a creative and collaborative person to be the lead designer of the firm’s brand identity. At SRG marketing is about participating in the architectural discourse, communicating the value of people-centered spaces, and elevating an understanding of the practice of architecture for our colleagues, clients and community. The Brand Designer will work collaboratively with the Marketing Director, firm Principals and marketing staff to develop the firm’s visual identity and brand implementation strategy. The position will be responsible for art direction and the design of all brand touch points, including digital and print media.
This position is integral to both office locations in creating and managing the look and feel of firm-wide brand assets, including development of brand standards such as the use of logo, font, color and templates; proposal packages; interview materials (large format presentation boards, leave-behind documents, etc); brochures; website; social media content; award submittals; and architectural photo shoots.
The position will also play an essential role on architectural projects, helping the team to maintain SRG’s brand identity during design presentations. There is the potential to grow this role and develop branding as a service offered by SRG in the future. This service would work with our architectural design teams to understand and integrate the client’s brand during the design process, as well as develop brand identity packages for clients.
The Brand Designer reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development and may be based in either Portland or Seattle. Travel will be required between the Portland and Seattle offices, and for out-of-town photo shoots.
THE SRG BRAND DESIGNER SHOULD:

The successful candidate will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint (Word and Excel skills are a bonus). Additional requirements include:
Professional experience in graphic design. Brand management and marketing experience a plus.
Strong design skills in print layout, typography, information graphics and template development.
Organized, detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Motivated self-starter and problem solver.
Enthusiastic team player and good collaborator.
Web design and management experience preferred but not required.
Passion to further develop our design culture.
Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and software.
Ability to travel between Portland and Seattle offices.
