I am a Design Recruiter at the adidas global HQ in Portland and I am writing to introduce you to our adidas Design Academy.
The adidas Design Academy is our 24-month traineeship program. There are four focuses available for the traineeship – Apparel, Footwear, Colour and Materials or Graphics – and based out of our two major design hubs in Herzogenaurach, Germany and in Portland, Oregon, in US.
The adidas Design Academy includes multiple rotations with several major design departments, including one assignment abroad in locations that include Shanghai, Tokyo, Portland or Nuremberg. The participants will also gain cross-functional knowledge in a 4-week rotation within one of our Brand Design, Product Marketing, Product Development or Innovation teams.
We are excited to provide an opportunity to your students/alumni to apply to this once-in-a-lifetime experience with adidas. Therefore we would like to ask you to present this information to any individuals you feel would be interested to take part in the adidas Design Academy.
The applications process will be open until 15th of April, 2017 and the program itself will start on 1st of October, 2017.
