We’re once again looking for artists during our open application period for the second season of our Gameday Poster Series. Similar to last year, the series will once again include a different poster design for each home game of the Portland Trail Blazers 2018-19 season for a total of 41 posters. Each poster will be printed in limited quantities and sold at the Moda Center Rip City Clothing Co. location each home game. More information about the program can be found here:
All proceeds from the sales of the posters benefit the Trail Blazers Foundation and our local Portland community non-profit organizations. The inaugural 2017-18 Poster Series raised over $18,000 for community programs that have a positive impact for local underserved children and families where they Live, Learn and Play: www.trailblazers.com/community/foundation.
The Poster Series provides local artists an opportunity to showcase their interpretation of the Trail Blazers and Rip City brands. Each accepted artist will be asked to design one poster for the series and will be required to enter into a formal agreement with the Trail Blazers for their Poster Series work. With the main goal of raising funds, we are keeping expenses to a minimum and offering artists payment of $400 for each accepted design.
A brief idea of the details and criteria required for each poster is below. If accepted as an artist, we will provide you with a formal agreement for review and execution, which will also include additional details of the project.
