Here’s an opportunity for a paid internship via the Mug Shot Café and Living Lab program.

Chris North and the ISS Living Lab board are recruiting for a student to lead this project during the Winter and possibly Spring Terms. The student lead will be able to assess the existing Mug Shot Café and make recommendations for it’s future. One idea that has been discussed is to make it mobile to be able to travel between the main Art Building and the Art Annex. This coffee cart could become an integral part of student-group activities many of which draw people from across campus to their programming. The project lead will work in the capacity of researcher, planner and coordinator. Chris North will be faculty advisor and provide additional support through project liaison with partners and budget development. Partners include but are not limited to the A+D Projects class taught by Kate Bingaman-Burt to support the project’s graphic and promotion needs, Friends of Graphic Design and Time Arts Club – to actively use the mobile cart at events.

Please let Chris North know of your interest by emailing her by December 5th. A meeting to find out more will be set up during finals week.
