The Winter term Portfolio Building Workshop (MKTG-410) will be held on February 21, 22, and 23. This is your chance to add to your portfolio and show your work to agency professionals from Portland. You’ll also learn how work is created in the real agency world first-hand while earning 2 credits over the weekend.
On Friday, February 21, we will help you form teams and then brief you on a creative assignment for a real client. With guidance from the Advertising Program faculty, your team will then conduct research, formulate a strategy, and concept creative solutions to solve the business problem contained in the brief. On Sunday at 3pm, the teams will present their thinking to a panel of advertising professionals and the client.
The goals of the workshop are twofold: one, to help you learn and understand the process used in interdisciplinary agencies, and two, to end up with concepts that, with polishing, are worthy of going into your book or portfolio.
Space is limited to 25 students, so register soon. If you need a Special Registration form (either Doug Lowell or Maureen O’Connor can get that for you: email@example.com)
