Above: Haven’t joined our Slack yet? Dive on in!
It was apparent during Spring term that we all were really missing a place to have impromptu conversations, give/receive feedback, ask questions, and just connect with one another while adapting to remote learning!
While nothing can replace our art building, we really want to try to create some type of space where students can connect outside of class. Many of us have used Slack for classes in the past and have joined other community groups using the platform.
For those who are unfamiliar, It’s essentially an organized chatroom/forum. Members can create and join a number of “channels” with specific topics, chat as groups or one-on-one, post links/files, and integrate other apps (like google docs and survey monkey). This is an opportunity to create a virtual space that bridges the gap between virtual learning and in-person conversation.
So, what we’d like from you: Join the channel, talk with us on Slack, and share it with your classmates!
