Most students are eligible for one or more scholarships offered at PSU. The College of the Arts manages over 60 scholarships specifically for students in Architecture, Art + Design, Film, and Music & Theater programs. To be considered for scholarships, you must complete the FAFSA*. Many scholarships at PSU require completion of the appropriate online PSU Scholarship Application:
Continuing and Transferring Student Application
If you’re already a PSU student, or are transferring to PSU.
·October 1, 2017: Continuing and transfer scholarship application opens.
·February 1, 2018 at 11:59pm PST: Deadline! Your application must be complete to be considered.
Scholarships awarded to Art Practices and Graphic Design undergraduates, MFA Studio and MFA Social Practice graduate students. Undergraduate students must have completed at least 20 credit hours in their major and all students must have at least 6 credit hours remaining before graduation. Awards are based on financial need, first-generation college student status, enrollment status, creative work and accomplishments in area/s of study in the School of A+D.
Awards will be put toward tuition fees. Amounts vary. Your application to the university scholarship portal ensures that you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.
1. Set up an account and apply through the university scholarship portal.
2. Create a PDF with 3-5 images of your work to attach in the Scholarship Application Portal.
3. Copy and paste the link to your Flickr photo set in university scholarship portal application.

Create a PDF set containing three to five examples of your work. Videos/animations may also be uploaded as a hyperlink to The committee will review up to five minutes of time-based work.
