Rosana is a graphic designer and illustrator, originally from Tehran, Iran, but currently living in Portland, OR. With a broad skill set including visual design, brand identity, logo design, illustration, and interactive design, she creates bold and innovative solutions to visual communication. Raised in an ancient tradition of visual design, her father was a master of Persian calligraphy. She went on to work as a Graphic Designer for 12 years in Iran, before immigrating to the US, and resuming her studies.
In her spare time, she likes to make silver jewelry, focusing on calligraphic forms, custom made for individuals. She also likes to paint portraits for fun. She is interested in shapes and colors and how that impacts design. With a bachelor degree in Graphic Design from Shahed Art University in Tehran and a Post-Bachelorette from Portland State University, Rosana is looking to continue to bring her literacy in tradition and cross-cultural communication to the world of visual design.
