From Rilla’s site:

I am a graphic designer and illustrator whose work has appeared on everything from toys and tea cups to busses and buildings.

My characters dance across Museo del Prado’s ceramics and stationery, populate Swiss Credit Cards and sleep on the walls of a Copenhagen hotel (where I replaced the bed with a tent).

I have spoken at design conferences and led workshops all over the world including the 8 dayPictoplasma Academy, a masterclass in character design. I was a founding member of Australian design collective Rinzen and my work has been showcased at Paris’ cultural mecca Colette and at the Musée de la Publicité/Louvre.

I have published several books includingNeighbourhood which features the collaborative efforts of over 30 artists reworking and remaking hand-made toys. My latest is The Best Book in the World, an ode to reading starring my alter-egoSozi – published by Nobrow’s Flying Eye Books.
