Letra Chueca is a womxn-owned operation who uses traditional machines and techniques to empower underrepresented communities in a world around us saturated by digital media. Through their conscious practices rooted in a cultura that supersedes borders, they intertwine social justice with craft, latinidad and the printed word. From offering bilingual greeting cards + political posters to collaborating alongside local artists + community organizations, their mission is to deinvisibilize through las medias of representation, printed by hand.

Letra Chueca Press is co-founded by Camila Araya and Daniela del Mar. Two patiperras, hailing from Chile, who share a common vision: to operate a sustainable, multicultural space dedicated to the craft of printing and its continued socio-political importance here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
