Colleen Plumb Lecture

April 1st, 2015 – 7:00-8:00PM
Shattuck Hall Annex
1914 SW Park Ave
Colleen Plumb’s work centers upon examining human ambivalence towards animals,
and the contradictory ways they are woven through the fabric of American culture. Her
focus for the past fifteen years has been an inquiry into a society whose appetite for animals,
whether in flesh or in reproduction, with admiration or obsession, is voracious.
She will be exhibiting at Blue Sky Gallery for the month of April.
