Position Description & Tasks: Existing website requires graphic and functional redesign. Existing content must be merged within the redesign. The work is extensive and will provide the applicant with an opportunity to expand work experience on a site recognized as a leader in jazz scholarship. (No music knowledge required). Qualifications & Requirements:
Computer Skills: HTML/Graphic design
Communication Skills: English required
Other: Knowledge of Cold Fusion helpful but probably not essential.
Duration of Internship: 8 weeks
Start Date: March 28 (approximately)
Hours per Week: 15
Compensation: $10 per hour
A Note on Earning Academic Credit for your Internship: Earning credit is optional when taking a paid internship, but required for all approved unpaid internships unless the employer is a registered nonprofit organization. The availability of academic credit depends on the projects the intern will be working on and the approval of a faculty sponsor.
